In 3 days time I leave for the Seychelles for a month of rest and whatever the Lord has lined up for me this time. My first assignment is a Saturday session of equipping & activation for intercessors with the Seychelles House of Prayer. This repost (posted a year ago exactly todate) is timely!

TOUCHING HEAVEN – BRIDGING THE GAP

During my conversation with JESUS yesterday, He gave me this word for the Intercessors and Prayer Warriors, and EVERYONE that are called by His name.

In Ezekiel 22:40, it was written “I looked for someone among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found no one.”

Those words were written BEFORE the SAVIOR of the world came and the HOLY SPIRIT was poured out at Pentecost. His coming was the first great awakening and a kingdom hunger was birthed within the heart of the church for GOD to bring His kingdom to the people. “Not by might, not by power but by My SPIRIT says the LORD” (Zechariah 6:8)

The SPIRIT of Intercession intercedes through those that answer the call to bridge the gap. Romans 8:26-27 “In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.”

Partnering with JESUS:

In a vision I saw a person standing in a field with his hand outstretched towards heaven. Then a mighty hand broke through the heavens and grabbed a hold of the hand that was outstretched towards heaven. It was the HAND OF JESUS. When you ask anything in prayer in the name of JESUS, HE comes into AGREEMENT with you. John 14:13-14 “Whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the FATHER may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.”

The FATHER wants you to know today that you’re TOUCHING HEAVEN AND BRIDGING THE GAP with your prayers, intercession and supplications.

PRAYER IS A PARTNERSHIP WITH JESUS REGARDING HIS PERFECT WILL FOR WHATEVER IT IS YOU’RE CONTENDING FOR.

Allow your spirit to grab a hold of this and start BELIEVING; then you can expect to see answers being manifested when you pray. Mark 11:24 – “Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, BELIEVE that you receive them, and you will have them.”

We all know of someone who needs a touch from GOD this very moment. A loved one, friend, neighbor, or a stranger that you’ve just met, someone caught up in a cycle of addiction (drugs, alcohol, etc), abuse, loveless relationships and other bondages. Or maybe you are a watchman on the walls of your city, watching, praying and declaring! I hear the LORD say “Take a stand right now, this very moment, and come into agreement with Me to lift up someone to the FATHER, and I WILL come into agreement with you!”

Take a moment and think of someone that needs a touch from heaven. EVERYONE NEEDS JESUS! Reach one hand towards heaven and JESUS will reach out and hold hands with you. As you speak out names that the HOLY SPIRIT brings to your mind, the LORD OF THE BREAKTHROUGH is going to break forth with power and start to change the spiritual atmosphere around them and impact their circumstances and the environment around them.

Angels on Assignment:

I see angels on assignment on standby, waiting to be released as you begin to pray, to accomplish the works of the FATHER. We do not command angels. Rather, they are deployed in response to the NAME OF JESUS in which we pray, to accomplish the will of the Most High GOD. (See ‘Angel’ definition below).

YOU are an AGENT OF CHANGE, used by GOD to TOUCH HEAVEN AND BRIDGE THE GAP with your PRAYERS!!!

ANGEL Definition: The original Hebrew word for ‘angel’ is ‘Mal’ach’ {מלאך} and it’s derived from the same Hebrew root as the word ‘Mela’cha’ {מלאכה} which means ‘work’ or ‘assignment.’ Angels are sent BY GOD to carry out specific missions (Source: www.hebrewwithariel.com)
