My Dream:

In a dream this week, I had an encounter with a python spirit that had been brought into the kitchen of the house that I was in. It had been brought in as a small snake-like fish but when no one was looking it began to stretch until it became this massive serpent that slithered into a large TV screen before exiting through a hole, into the ceiling and finally out of the house.

Prophetically, the kitchen is symbolic of the place where food (spiritual truths) is prepared before it is dished out to us (from the pulpit). It is no wonder that the enemy will try to gain access to that area of the house of prayer so it can hinder the body of Jesus Christ. As it has been revealed to me by Holy Spirit, the TV in my dream represents the spiritual airwaves.

The python spirit is the spirit of lies, deception, spiritual oppression of heaviness, witchcraft and divination.

In the book of Genesis, it is this spirit that possessed the serpent to lie to Eve by twisting the word of God and creating enmity between God and man. Once it slithers into the believer’s life, the python spirit constricts and squeezes with the intention to kill, steal and destroy the destinies of God’s children.

The Breath:

It is said that when a python constricts and squeezes a person, it’s main goal is to feed on what it’s killing. Spiritually this is what this spirit aims to do. It begins by lying to your mind and creating all manner of thoughts against God. Once it has a slight grasp upon you, it begins to coil and squeeze. Every time you catch your breath, it squeezes some more until you have no breath left in you.

The breath is God’s promise for your life.

Ezekiel 37:5 “Thus says the Lord GOD to these bones: “Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live.”

The python is after the breath of God in you and will not let go until he’s consumed every last bit of it.

False Pregnancy:

When I was praying about this dream, I was taken in a vision where I could see this python. Its belly was swollen and it gave a perception of being pregnant when in reality it was heavy with all that it had consumed.

The python spirit is the spirit of witchcraft and divination (false prophecies). We see in Acts 16:16-18 where a young girl who was possessed by this spirit followed Paul and Silas making declarations, until Paul, greatly annoyed by it, cast it out of her. Immediately thereafter, a revolt broke out against them “…When her masters saw that their hope of profit was gone, they seized Paul and Silas and dragged them into the marketplace to the authorities.” (Acts 16:19). “Then the multitude rose up together against them” (v22)

Then they were beaten, thrown in jail and shackled.

The python spirit is nasty one and it fights back viciously when confronted.

The Deliverance by the Manifest Glory:

In a vision, I saw the manifest glory of God coming upon the python causing it to break its stranglehold over people’s lives. I saw the glory of God entering this twisted serpent belly cavity causing it to regurgitate and give back the promises and blessings that it has consumed. I saw powerful deliverance, restoration, restitution and blessings being restored in the coming season. I heard Holy Spirit say “Pursue it, overtake it and recover it”

1 Samuel 30:8

“So David inquired of the LORD, saying, “Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them?” And He answered him, “Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all.”

Your deliverance means that the promises and blessings that were stolen from you are being restored. Not only will you recover ALL, but the Lord is going to give you DOUBLE for your trouble. And there’s more! The thief has been found and he has to restore to you sevenfold and even ALL the substance of his house, according to Proverbs 6:21.

May the strength that came upon Sarah to conceive and birth your long awaited promise (Hebrew 11:11) come upon you now, as you start to claim back your blessings: Your health (physical, mental, emotional, spiritual), your finance, your marriage, your relationship, your job, your sight / vision, your hearing, your dreams.. This is YOUR inheritance… for you, your children and your children’s children.
