When our landscaper was doing our new garden he gifted to us with a 30 year old Spanish blood orange tree but it died. He wanted to come and replace it but somehow I couldn’t get rid of it. I held on with the HOPE that it will come back to life.

After 6 months, I was reading scriptures where Jesus cursed the fig tree and it died. I remembered Jesus also said “the thief comes to kill, steal and destroy but I have come to give life and life abundantly (John 10:10). Then I also remembered that life and death is in the power of the tongue. So every day for several weeks, I spoke life to the orange tree. I would declare “you shall live and not die to declare the works of the Lord! I commanded life to come upon you in Jesus name.” Every morning and evening, I watered it with natural water and with God’s word. Around 6 weeks after I began to do this daily, the first buds appeared.

According to the Hebrew calendar, the 8th month of the year began on 1 Cheshvan, 5781 (October 19, 2020 in the Gregorian calendar). 8 is symbolic of new beginnings.

In this month of new beginnings, I bless you and declare and decree over you FRUITFULNESS and LIFE, in Jesus name. What the enemy thought he had killed will be RESURRECTED by the power of Holy Spirit. What he sent to hinder you will LAUNCH you into your NEW. I also declare that you shall live and not die to proclaim what the LORD has done for you. (Psalm 118:7)

Look for the buds and the blossoms that are beginning to manifest in your life. The Lord is not just arising with healing in His wings, but He’s also arising with WHOLENESS.

“Now may the God of peace make you holy in every way, and may your WHOLE spirit and soul and body be kept blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ comes again. God will make this happen, for He who calls you is faithful.” 1Thessalonians 5:23-24

Do not despise these small (humble) beginnings (Zechariah 4:10) but COUNT them as BLESSINGS for I heard the Lord say that ABUNDANCE is coming!
