“Therefore take up the whole armour of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” — Ephesians 6:13

The fact that EVERY believer is required to gear up in our spiritual armour is a clear indication that there’s a spiritual battle going on. Without it, we won’t be able to “withstand” the evil onslaught from our spiritual adversary.

As long as God’s people are PRAYING, righteousness will prevail, but the moment we stop praying, evil triumphs. We are to pray not just for ourselves but for ALL believers:

Ephesians 6:18 — “Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for ALL the saints…”

Many people, including Christians, are bound in cycles of sin, addictions, depression, fear, anxiety, sickness, poverty, and other forms of demonic attacks… and they don’t know how to become free. THE BATTLE IS REAL!!!

We, the ekklesia (the Church that Jesus built — Matthew 16:18-19) has been commanded as follows:

“And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give. (Matthew 10:7-8)

This is besides the Great Commission of Matthew 28:19-20 — “Therefore GO and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.”
