1 Peter 5:8 — Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour”.
None of the battles we wrestle with are of our own choosing. We have an enemy that hates everything about us. He’s after our destiny, our purpose, our future. He’s after our life, our family, our spouse, our children, our marriage, our job, our finances, our health, our peace, our joy, our freedom…
If we let him, he will take everything we have.
Ephesians 6:11-12 “Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.”
The enemy is our “battle”. It means we don’t choose the battle… the battle chooses us.
What then shall we do about it?
1) Do we sit down defeated?
2) Do we rise up and push back?
No one is born a warrior… you must CHOOSE to be one, or remain defeated!
You can be a powerful PRAYER WARRIOR, using the Sword of the Spirit that’s in your mouth (Ephesians 6:17).
You have to make a decision:
To become WARRIOR or to remain a worrier?
What will you choose?
